Vonda Lea Pifer Evans, 76, of 210 Andrea Circle, Apt. 7, died Wednesday, April 3, 2008 at her home.
Born in St. George, WV, she was a daughter of the late Delmer Lee and Reva Allene Kastner Pifer. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith. She grew up in Baltimore, MD and she and Mr. Evans lived there until they retired in 1993 and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In 2003, they moved to Easley, SC where they currently reside. Mrs. Evans loved reading, traveling, and she especially loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Wilson Laird Evans of the home; a son, Mark Steven Evans and wife Donna of Easley; four sisters, Judith Brown, Karen Shiflett, Pamela Hill, all of Baltimore, MD, Sheila Frye of Yukon, OK; and two grandchildren, David and Joseph Evans.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
