W. E. Pinion

W. E. Pinion, 92, husband of Elaine Kelley Kennemore Dobson Pinion, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Park Place in Seneca.

Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late J.B. and Lou Veda Collins Pinion. W. E. was a former employee with Saco Lowell in Easley and was the operator of Clemson Variety and Frame for many years. He was a member of Gideons International and was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are stepdaughters, Vicki Kennemore Hayes (Joe) of Easley, Janice Kennemore Livingston of Pendleton, Melinda Dobson Wilbanks (Steve) of Central, Karen Dobson Barker (Gary) of Rosman, NC, and Angie Dobson Kicklighter of Lexington, SC; sisters, Glenda Sullivan (Ray) of Norris and Brenda Kelly (Roger) of Six Mile, SC; grandchildren, Allison Kirby (Jeff) and Eric Sheriff (Dawn); 6 great grandchildren; and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two wives, Kathryn Rampey Pinion and Norma Autry Pinion; daughter, Kathy Ann Pinion Sheriff; brothers, Thurston Pinion, J.C. Pinion, Ronald Pinion and Donald Pinion; sisters Cornelia Kelley, Louise Sexton, Elizabeth Smith, Maebelle Burkett, Shelby Nieves, Jessie Dyar, and Reba Clyborne.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Friday at Trinity Wesleyan Church with Rev. Mike McClung officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM, Friday at the church prior to the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideons International or to Trinity Wesleyan Church.
