W. Harvey Hall

William Harvey Hall, 84, of 312 Burnt Tanyard Road, husband of Vernell Nichols Hall for 62 years, passed away, Thursday, August 2, 2018.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Cemeloy and Julia Kelly Hall.
Harvey was a weaver with J.P. Stevens for many years and retired from High Hampton Inn & Country Club in Cashiers. He also mowed lawns for over 30 years and was a member of Welcome Wesleyan Church in Seneca. Harvey loved his family, western movies and was known to be a "talker'.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Sharon James (Doug) of Mountain Rest and Donna Hall of the home; granddaughters, Christen Stewart (Jeff) and Hollie Lester (Charles); grandson, Nicolas Hall (affectionately called George by his Papa); great granddaughter, Tori Lester; great-grandsons, Caleb and Andrew Stewart, and Brendan Lester; sisters, Carolyn June Vickery of Anderson and Judy Ann Tippins (Clyde) of Easley; and his special dog friend, Molly.
In addition to his parents, Harvey was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Mullinax; and brothers, Wilton Aroe and Wallace Cemeloy Hall.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central, SC.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM, Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at his home.
