W. Wayne Vinson

Wayne Vinson, 74, husband of Sarah Ann Vinson, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020.
Born in Randolph County, AL, a son of the late Charlie and Judy Edmondson Vinson.
He retired from IRO Sales and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Sarah Ann Vinson; three sons, Chris Vinson, of Piedmont, Mike and Lane Vinson, of Easley, and Dean and Tammy Vinson, of Piedmont; a sister, Jettyrene Shortnacey; a brother, Danny Vinson, both of Alabama; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Fredrick Scott Vinson and a sister, Brenda Joyce Watson.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. The family will greet friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
