Wade Marion Ladd, 75, formerly of Liberty, husband of the late Barbara Jean Jones Ladd, died Monday, December 14, 2009, at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Robert and Willie Mae Owens Ladd, Mr. Ladd was formerly employed with the Liberty Plant of Woodside Mills and retired from Brandon Mills.
Surviving is a son, Michael Ladd of Easley; three brothers, Bobby Ladd, Jimmy Ladd and Ronnie Ladd, all of Liberty; four sisters, Louise Crowe of Liberty, Helen McCollum, Geraldine Minnich and Martha Gray, all of Easley; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Ladd and Bryson Ladd. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Ladd was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Anne Bryant.
Graveside services will be 3:30:00 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jack Mahaffy officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
