Mr. Wallace Frank Browning, 92, husband of Sybil Cantrell Browning, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, March 8, 2024.

Born in Pickens County he was the son of the late Claude Browning and the late Etha Gray Browning. Mr. Browning was a 1949 graduate of Easley High School and retired from the United States Postal Service-Easley Branch with thirty-three years of service. He was an active member of United Wesleyan Church where he served in numerous positions, was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and an avid Clemson Football fan.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of seventy-two years, are his two daughters, Linda B. Clardy (Jackie), and Sherri B. Lee (Tommy), both of Easley; his four grandchildren, Mike Clardy (Crystal), Kristi Hawkins, Christopher Lee and Taylor Lee; and his two great-grandchildren, Tyler Clardy and Lily Kate Clardy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Browning was predeceased by a grandson, Jason Christopher Clardy; five brothers, Willie Lee Browning, J.C. Browning, Clarence Browning, Horace Browning and Jack Browning; and a sister, Virginia Stephens.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.

Flowers will be accepted, and memorials may be made to United Wesleyan Church, 738 Rice Road, Easley, SC 29640.
