Wallace Calvin Houston, 88, husband of Mattie Ruth “Pat” Houston, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his home.
Born in Easley, he was a son of the late John Robert Houston and Madge Lee Barton Houston.
Mr. Houston was retired from Alice Manufacturing. He was a member of Arial United Methodist Church and a WWII Veteran.
In addition to his wife of 67 years, he is survived by a son, David Wallace Houston and wife, Linda, of Columbus, GA; two grandchildren, Elliott Houston and wife, Michelle, of Atlanta, GA and Alexander Houston of New Orleans, LA.
Mr. Houston was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by six brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown A private burial will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arial UMC, 829 Gentry Memorial Hwy., Easley, SC 29640.
