Wallace Dean Lesley, "Pop", 75, of 464 Zion Church Road and husband of Lucille Crum Lesley, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Palmer Hutson and Mittie Eudora Cartee Lesley.
He was owner and operator of Wallu Construction, Inc. and was a member of Easley Church of God.
Surviving in addition to his wife are, daughters, Wanda L. Hicks of Anderson, Robin L. Buckley and husband Rev. Seth Buckley of Moore, and Deana L. Nations of the home; a sister, Sara Dillard of Ladson, SC; 8 grandchildren, Jessi H. Gilliam, Dusty and Rocky Hicks, Jacob, Caleb, Eli and Micah Buckley, and Chaps Nations; two great-grandchildren, Aron and Savannah Gilliam.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Sheryl Lesley; and brothers, Fulton, J.P., Virgil, Tyne and Theron Lesley.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Wednesday at Easley Church of God with Rev. Drs. Roger Childers and T. David Sustar officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Easley Church of God Building Fund, 511 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.
