Walter E. Iffland, Jr., 82, of Easley, SC, husband of the late Sandra Stutzman Iffland, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Born on September 13, 1943, in Williamsport, PA, he was the only child of the late Walter E. Iffland, Sr. and the late Mildred Shronk Iffland and was of Methodist faith.

He was a man whose life was marked by devotion to his family and a profound appreciation for the joys that made his days meaningful.

Walter found great pleasure in being a spectator of dirt track racing and NASCAR, cherishing the moments he spent attending racing alongside his sons. These memories remain a testament to the bond they shared, filled with enthusiasm and fatherly pride. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter, embracing the outdoors with a spirit of adventure and respect for nature.

Walter was a dedicated employee of the Campbell Soup Company where he was a purchasing agent for many years. He enjoyed keeping track of the stock market and had the talent of looking ahead of what the future held. He often took that knowledge to offer advice to those who would seek it from him.

Among Walter’s proudest accomplishments was his love of travel with his wife, embarking on journeys that enriched their lives and deepened their connection. These shared experiences epitomized his zest for life and dedication to those closest to him.

In addition to his wife and his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Summer K. Iffland and granddaughter, Rachel Erin Iffland.

He is survived by sons, Jason E. Iffland and Steven F. Iffland.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Walter's funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in the Chapel of Reflections Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens with entombment to follow.
