Mr. Walter Mack Looper, 101, husband of the late Helen Hamilton Looper, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Born in Pickens County, the son of the late Mack and Lillian Singleton Looper, Mr. Looper retired from the Slater-Marietta Plant of J.P. Stevens with fifty years of service and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a US Navy Veteran having served in WWII.

Surviving are a daughter, Martha Looper Swain (Jim) of Greenville; a grandson, David Swain (Karen); two great-grandchildren, Corey and Sean; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Looper was predeceased by a brother, Rudolph Looper; and a sister, Mildred Mahaffey.

Due to the COVID-19 Crisis, graveside services will be private at Graceland East Memorial Park.
