Wanda Jane Lyda Aiken, 56, of 107 South Seventh Street, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Greenville County, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred Owens Lyda, Mrs. Aiken retired from the Glenwood Plant of Mayfair Mills and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Dale Aiken of the home; two daughters, Sherry Kelley and husband, Mike, and Cheryl Hanna and husband, Roger; a son, Jimmy Scruggs; a brother, Larry Lyda; and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aiken was predeceased a brother, Gary Lyda.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Christian Outreach, 921 Anderson Drive, Liberty, SC, with Rev. Mike Morris officiating.
Family members are at their respective homes.
