Wanda Faye Ellenburg McCuen, 79, of Dacusville, wife of almost 50 years to Henry Alton McCuen, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Truman D. and Ila Harvey Ellenburg.
Wanda was a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church for 57 years. She loved her family, church, and many friends she made throughout her life. She enjoyed playing piano for services and events at Easley Place. She worked many jobs throughout the years mostly serving others. Her passions included music, genealogy, and crafts.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Hall of Dacusville; Karol Raines (Chris) of Mauldin; Gayle Amos of Liberty; grandchildren, Ben Hall (Becky), Lisa Crumpton (Charles), Amy Hansen (Nathan), Kiaya Evatt (Daniel), Chris Amos (Kelsey), Kristin Raines and Colin Raines; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Anthony (Tony) Alton McCuen and a sister Joyce Ellenburg Robinson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM in the parlor of Nine Forks Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Nine Forks Baptist Church Music Ministry.
Following the service, the family will be at the home of a granddaughter, Lisa Crumpton, 279 Hunts Bridge Road, Easley, SC 29640.
