June Faulkner Pace, 83, of Easley, South Carolina died Thursday, February 22, 2024 at her residence.
June was a 1959 graduate of Easley High School. She and her husband, the late Weston Stuart Pace, traveled the world while he served his country during the 1960s, giving birth to their first child in Germany. She was a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family’s needs. She and her late husband were the owners of Pace Labels and were members of Easley Presbyterian Church.
June supported her husband throughout his career and shared her creative talents of cooking and art in several entrepreneurial ventures of her own. With an eye for beauty and distinction, June created unique and vibrant settings for friends and family to enjoy together.
She is survived by two daughters: Sonja Pace Lowery (Mike) and Gretchen Pace Keene (Martin); three grandchildren, Pace Lowery, Maggie Lowery Fortenberry (Jake), and Perrin Keene; and one great-grandson, Henry Fortenberry. Also surviving is her brother Donald R. Faulkner (Eulalie).
In addition to her husband, June was predeceased by her parents: the late Willie Rudell Faulkner and the late Lila Nalley Faulkner Newton.
The families are honoring June’s life with private, commemorative celebrations. No public services are planned at this time.
