Mrs. Wanda Kloos Rawson Sargent, 70, wife of Mr. Thomas Nelson Sargent, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the late Harry and Essie Johnson Kloos, Mrs. Sargent was a former employee of United Life Insurance Company in Cedar Rapids. While living in Iowa, she was very active in the community: She was a member of the Insurance Women of Cedar Rapids, Inc., served as a Chaplain for the American Legion Auxillary of Hanford Post #5, and volunteered with Community Friends for the Linn County Mental Health Advocates. Wanda loved flowers, and in her free time, you could always find her in the garden taking care of all the different types that she had planted.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Greg Mohr (Marilyn) of Sidney, MT; four brothers, Don, Glenn, and her twin brother, Wayne Kloos, all of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Art Kloos of Hiawatha, IA; a sister, Bonnie Mitchell of Bella Vista, AR; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews; and one great-great nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Twyla Kloos, Velma Mohr, and Betty Edmonds.

Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
