Ward Odom Kines, 83, husband of Jean Cone Kines, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
Born in Centre, AL, a son of the late Grady Ward Kines and the late Hattie Lorine Odom Kines, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Freemason who enjoyed racing, yardwork, Alabama Football, politics, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church in Greenville.
Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of sixty-three years, are a son, Dennis Odom Kines (Cassie) of Pendleton; a daughter, Debbie Jean Kines Rogers (Mike) of Six Mile; brothers, Harold Kines (Alfretta) and Stevie Kines (Barbara), both of Centre, AL; sisters, Peggy Hite and Carolyn Clayton (Wayne), both of Centre, AL; grandchildren, Zack Rogers (Lacey) of Liberty, Dylan Rogers of Six Mile, and Stella Rose Kines of Pendleton; and great-grandchildren, Eli Rogers and Ace Rogers.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother-in-law, Robert Hite.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Manna Health and Rehabilitation in Pickens, Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, and their home health nurse, Sharon, for their care of Mr. Kines.
