Warren Albert Lutz, Jr., 78, of Anderson, SC, a beloved husband and father, passed away on October 3, 2024. Born in Pennsylvania to Warren Sr. and Leona Lutz, Warren dedicated his life to serving others—a commitment that spanned both his professional career and personal endeavors.

Warren was a certified registered nurse anesthetist, a role in which he provided comfort and care to countless patients. His deep passion for improving lives was reflected in his ability to ease the anxieties of those in medical need, a testament to his gentle spirit and unwavering compassion that brought comfort to many.

A proud veteran, Warren served as a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines during the Vietnam War. His bravery earned him a Bronze Star, recognizing his selfless acts in the line of duty. Warren’s service did not end with his military commitment; he remained active in veteran’s organizations, dedicating time to the Marine Corps League #1106 and Vets Helping Vets of Anderson, demonstrating his unwavering support for those who served alongside him.

Warren was married to his beautiful wife, Bonnie, for 55 years, a union marked by love, respect, and shared dreams. He cherished the years spent with her, building a life filled with laughter and memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of their family and friends. Warren's love for his family was unwavering, and his dedication to them was a testament to the warmth of his love.

Warren found joy on the golf course in his leisure time, where he delighted in participating in Hickory tournaments. His love for the game was matched only by the camaraderie he fostered with fellow golfers, each swing reflecting the zest for life that was so characteristic of him.

Warren leaves behind a legacy of kindness and dedication, exemplified not only through his professional achievements but also in the depth of his friendships and the warmth of his family ties. Those who had the privilege to know him will remember a man of sincerity, strength, and unwavering support.

Warren leaves behind his wife, Bonita Lutz, his son, Jacob Q. Lutz, and a step-sister, Marion Sprecher.

He is pre-deceased by his parents, Warren Albert Lutz, Sr. and Leona M. Lutz, as well as his daughter Jessica Yvonne Lutz. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home, located at 1425 Powdersville Road in Easley, South Carolina, with a burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Veterans Gardens of Honor.
