Waymon E. Dillard

Waymon Edward Dillard, 85, of 225 Zion Heights Circle, formerly of Old Anderson Highway, and husband of the late Lottie Vaughn Dillard, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late A.B. and Gladys Ruth Black Dillard, Mr. Dillard retired from Platt Saco Lowell and was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda McAlister and husband Harry, of Easley; two brothers, Clyde Dillard and Jerry Dillard, both of Easley; a sister, Viola Porter of Easley; one granddaughter, Kim Deck; three great-grandchildren, Jessica, Dillon, and Chase Deck; two step-granddaughters, and two ste-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Dillard was predeceased by two brothers, Cleo Dillard and Paul Dillard.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverends Randy Smith and Robert Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
