Wayne Ballard

Wayne Ballard, 62, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Ballard was born in Asheville, NC and was a son of the late William Henry and Katherine Robertson Ballard. He was retired from Ivester Corporation, and was a avid boater and fisherman.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Surviving are his wife, Neta Perron Ballard; a son, Kevin Wayne Ballard of Pickens; a daughter, Cherish Nicole Ballard-Davenport,son-in-law Ted Davenport; two brothers, Larry Dean and Frank Kenneth Ballard, both of Easley; a sister, Sandra Kay White of Easley; four grandchildren, Madison and Camryn Davenport and Nekhari and Savion Durham; four sisters-in law, two brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC  29615 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.

The family will be at the home on Turpin Drive.
