Wayne Hamilton Black, 54, of Liberty Highway, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of Margaret Barker Black and the late William Hamilton Black. Wayne was a former machinist with Anderson Auto Parts of Anderson and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, Christopher Wayne Black and wife, Crystal Lea of Easley and Jesse Hamilton Black and wife, Angela Rae of Central; step-daughter, Monica Kay Westmoreland of Seneca; brother William Frederick Black of Seneca; Theresa Porter of Six Mile; and four grandsons who knew him as "popcicle"; Christopher Devin Black, Dylan Wayne Black, Joshua Hamilton Black and Daniel Isaac Black.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Sunset, SC with Rev. Doyle Barker officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm, Saturday prior to the service at the church.
There will be a procession with a motorcycle escort leaving from Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central to Pine Grove Baptist Church at 11:30 am Saturday, open to all who wish to ride.
