Wayne Dockery, 61, of 113 Wintergreen Lane, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Born in Murphy, NC, a son of the late Ross Dillard and Daisy Marie Bivens Dockery, Mr. Dockery was employed with Pepperidge Farm in Aiken and was a member of New Works Fellowship in Dacusville.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Dockery of the home; two sons, Wayne A. Dockery and Michael Dockery, both of Liberty; two brothers, Austin Dockery and Lloyd Dockery, both of Madisonville, TN; four sisters, Glenda Ward and Annalene Roberts, both of Madisonville, TN, Marilyn Ledford of Teleco Plains, TN and Christine Cordin of Murphy, NC; and three grandchildren, Kristen Bostic, Karina Vega Monrroy and Brandon Vega Monrroy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dockery was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Vega and by a brother, Floyd Dockery.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Robinson Memorial Gardens with Mr. Tommy Jones officiating.
Visitation will from Noon until 2:00 PM Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the home of the residence, 113 Wintergreen Lane, Liberty, SC 29657.
