Douglas Wayne Durham, 71, of McCoy Street, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth Nix Durham.
Mr. Durham was retired from Alice Manufacturing, Arial Plant. He was a member of West End Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife of the home, Pearlie Edith Gilbert Durham; children, Debra Webb (Jesse), Bobby Durham and Andrew "Andy" Durham all of Easley, Wendy Summerall (James) of Greenville and Jimmy Bryant of Florida; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ruthie Patterson of Liberty; and brothers, Glenn Durham of Waynesville, NC and Doug Durham of Easley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Burrell and brothers, James and Bruce Durham.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at West End Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at the home of Carl Burrell, 204 McCoy Street, Easley, SC 29640.
