Mr. Wayne Frank Gastley, 73, husband of the late Ann Bagwell Gastley, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, December 22, 2017.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Frank Alexander Gastley and the late Martha Elizabeth Allen Gastley, Mr. Gastley was a graduate of Easley High School and a retired supervisor with AmeriPride Linen with over thirty years of service.
Wayne had a passion for fishing, camping, woodworking, loved spending time with his family and was affectionately known as Papa. He was an active member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church and a member of the New Beginnings Sunday School Class.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Ingram and her husband Frankie, of Sunset, SC and Jennifer Smith and her husband, Timmy of Easley; a sister, Opal Stephens (Ed) of Easley; four grandchildren, Brooke and John Ingram, and Brenley and Bryson Smith; and his beloved dog, Skip. In addition to his wife of fifty-two years "The Love of His Life", and parents, Mr. Gastley was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jo Grogan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
