Wayne McDowell, 62, of Pope Field Rd., passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Regency Hospital.
Born July 2, 1952 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Thomas Lester McDowell and the late Mary Louise Wasdin Pirkle.
Mr. McDowell is survived by his sisters, Suzette Cooke (Carl) and Margie Wilson; nieces and nephews, Zachariah Floyd, Myra Floyd, Mary Beth Leipold, Adair Floyd, Cassy Myers, Ronald Wilson and Veelynn Bain; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Inurnment will be at a later date in Southern Palms Cemetery in Myrtle Beach.
