Wayne K. Stegall, 82, of Powdersville, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at McCall Hospice House.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Ruben W. and Mary Shirley Stegall. He was retired from Asplundh Tree Expert Company and a member of Calvary Assembly of God.
Mr. Stegall is survived by his wife Nettie McNeely Stegall of the home; two sons, Kenneth Stegall and wife Cathy of North Augusta and Barry Stegall of Spartanburg; a daughter, Jo Ellen Orr of Powdersville; one brother, Harold Stegall of Easley, two sisters, Mary Ann Leslie and Linda Chappell and husband, Troy of Easley; five grandchildren, Joshua Stegall, Brooke Edwards and husband, Keith, Jr., Jason and Kevin Orr and Drew Stegall; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Caitlin Stegall.
Mr. Stegall was predeceased by two brothers, Pat and Jimmy Stegall; four sisters, Peggy Gilstrap, Ellen Tate, Dorothy Stegall and Sara McNeely.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, 1425 Powdersville Rd., Easley, SC 29642, officiated by Reverend David Nelson and Reverend Charles Marcy. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery- West.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
The family is at the home in Powdersville.
