Wayne Maurice Wilson, 71, formerly of Easley, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at The Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.

Born in Elmira, NY, he was a son of the late Vernon and Robah Massingill Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was retired from Cryovac and was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran and a Mason. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Sandra Yelton Wilson; his children, Wayne Maurice Wilson, Jr. and his fiance', Stephanie, of Easley, Angel Weathers and husband, Travis, of Seneca and Shannon Wilson of Easley; grandchildren, Preston, Cameron and Olivia Weathers, Brook and Bryson Ladd, Brantley Bailey, Skyler Wilson and Maddox Arrowood.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two grandchildren, Ezekiel Tanksley and Wayne Maurice Wilson, III "Trace"; and a brother, Keith Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery in Easley.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Ladd, Bryson Ladd, Lamont Wilson, Dale Nalley, Kevin Eaves and Jeremy Spence.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, Cottingham Hospice House, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672.

The family will be at their respective homes.
