Mr. Weldon C. "Pete" Lesley, 87, husband of the late Bessie Stegall Lesley, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at his home, after an extended illness.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Herbert and Elzora Black Lesley, Mr. Lesley was a retired contractor, Mason, and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Lesley (Bonnie), Jerry Lesley, and Steve Lesley, all of Easley and a sister, Elizabeth Campbell of Easley. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Lesley was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rock Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Ste. 101, Greenville, SC 29615.
