Wencel A. "Joe" Neumann, Jr. of 345 Kendra Place, Clemson Downs, formerly of Goshen, CT, and Millbrook, New York died November 26, 2009.

A native of Marlette, MI, son of the Late Wencel A. Sr. and Amber Cooley Neumann, he was a retired executive with Delaval Separator Company in Poughkeepsie, NY where he served for 17 years as the company's CEO and President prior to retirement. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in 1936 and his MBA in 1937 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

He attended Snow Creek Baptist Church and he was a member of the Seneca Rotary Club. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII serving as a Captain in Ordnance.

Surviving is his wife, Kathyrn J. Neumann; children, Sherry McCoy, Sheila (Ronnie) Wald, Susan (Kevin) Landreth; brother, Paul (Florence) Neumann Traverse City, MI; sister-in-law, Marina Neumann of West Granby, CT; grandchildren, Shanna Landau, Austin and Carmen Wald, Kathyrn and Noah Landreth. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Judson Neumann, brothers, Robert C. Neumann and Edward Neumann.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central Clemson Commons. Burial will follow at a later date in Marlette, MI. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clemson Volunteers, 500 Downs Loop, Clemson, SC 29631 or to Hospice of the Foothills Foundation, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672.
