Wendy Dee Darley Vogt

Wendy Dee (Darley) Vogt, 71, of Central, South Carolina, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina.

She was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, on August 24, 1954. She was the daughter of Kenneth Eugene Darley and Jean Olivia (Leonard) Darley. Wendy worked in the hospitality industry in New Jersey for many years before moving to Florida, then eventually to South Carolina to be closer to family. She enjoyed good food and wine and loved to travel.

Wendy is survived by her son, Stephen Vogt, and his wife, Azanda, of Somers Point, New Jersey; her grandchildren, Zoe Vogt and Shaun LaBoy, her great-grandchildren, Harlo and Winter; her brother, Kenneth E. Darley, Jr., of Hollywood, Florida; and her sister Debbie Mack and her husband, Doug, of Clemson, South Carolina. She is predeceased by her parents and her brothers, David W. Darley and John E. Darley.

A private celebration of Wendy’s life will be held at a later date.
