Wesley Marvin Hansen, 82, husband of Marilyn Hansen, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2018.
Born July 23, 1936 in Boy River, MN, he was the son of the late Gordon and Ruth Hansen. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Wheaton College, a Master of Theology from Denver Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He also received a Doctor of Divinity from Central Baptist.
Rev. Hansen served in the Mission Field in San Piedros, Uruguay church planting and camp building. He served churches in Littleton, CO, Owatonna, MN, and Sioux City, IA.
In retirement he was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and teacher of the beloved Victory Class for 16 years.
He loved his Savior, his Bible, building projects, Gospel music (especially the Collingsworth Family) and Clemson football.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Kyle Hansen (Carrie); Karis Lane (Jim); Joseph Hansen (Denita); Larissa Maness; Leslie Burns (Calvin); and Lauran Mitchell; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons; and a brother, Lowell Hansen (Kay).
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Paul and Duane.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Private burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, November 19, 2018, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the funeral home.
