Whilmenia Pete Lorick

Whilmenia "Pete" Lorick, 94, of Pendleton, SC passed away March 13, 2018 at NHC Anderson, SC.

Born May 30, 1923, she was the daughter of late Furman and Nettie Alewine Leaphart. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.

She was a member of Pendleton First Baptist Church and a hairdresser to many in the greater Pendleton area for 60 years.

Surviving are daughter, Lynda (Wayne) Stone of Anderson, SC, son Randy Lorick of Whitten Center, Clinton, SC. Surviving also: 1 granddaughter, Marci Graham Sloan (Jay) Anderson, SC, 3 step-grandsons: Ben, Ted and Gary Stone, Tampa Fl., great grandchildren Riley (Joshua) Powell, Tyler (Allie) Sloan, Bree Sloan and Bode Sloan and great great grandchildren, Greyson Powell, Keean Powell and Joy Sloan, Maverick Sloan and Emma Sloan.

Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:30 prior to the service at 3:00 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC with burial in Memory Gardens, 586 Issaqueena Trail, Clemson, SC. The Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg and Pastor Jay Sloan will be officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and wishes to thank the friends, caregivers and staff at National Health Care NHC, Station 2, Anderson, SC.
