Willard Wayne Potts, 73, husband of Mary Lou Comerford Potts, passed away, July 7, 2008 at the Clemson Downs Health Care Center.

Born on June 19, 1935 in Nashville, TN, he was a son of the late Raymond and Margaret Cotton Potts. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, he served three years in the Army prior to beginning his 37 year career with ARAMARK, where he served as a Senior District Manager and a Regional General Manager.

Surviving in addition to his wife are: two daughters, Anne McGuffin and husband, David, of Camden, NC and Catherine Anderson and husband, William, of Tega Cay, SC; one son, Stephen Potts and wife, Lynn, of Clemson; eight grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth and Conor McGuffin, Madison and Gregory Potts, Christopher, Sarah and Laura Anderson: one brother, Robert Potts of Knoxville, TN; one aunt, Ruby Potts of Lebanon, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and John W. Potts; and two sisters, Mary Alice Davis and Martha Bray.

Memorial services will be 1 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2008 in the chapel of St. Andrews Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in social hall of church.
