William A. Alexander

Six Mile

William Alvin Alexander, 88, husband of the late Barbara Chapman Alexander. passed away at his residence Sunday February 26, 2023. He was born in Six Mile, the son of Charles and Mamie Taylor Alexander.

 

Pop, as he was affectionately known, worked for many years as a tool and die maker. He really enjoyed gardening and fishing. But he absolutely loved spending time with his family, watching softball games or anything else they were involved with. He will be deeply missed.

 

He is survived by his sons, Tim Alexander of Six Mile, and Paul Alexander and his wife, Christy of Six Mile; daughter, Karen Hall and her husband, Craig of Easley; grandchildren, Will and Kurtlyn Alexander, Dalton Hall, and Christopher Simmons.  In addition to his wife and parents, Pop was predeceased by an infant daughter, Pamela Alexander, three brothers and two sisters.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1st in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road in Central. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Holiness Church Cemetery in Six Mile.  The family will receive friends 12:30-2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

The family are all at their respective homes.
