Mr. William Clarence "Bill" Buchanan, 77, husband of Connie Burrell Buchanan, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, January 20, 2014 at his home.
Born in Oconee County, the son of the late Fred Brown and Nannie Callaham Buchanan, Mr. Buchanan retired from Winn Dixie Stores with forty-two years of faithful service and was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church. Bill was a volunteer with Pickens County Meals on Wheels and the Greenville Health System. He was a member of the Walden Masonic Lodge #274 and a US Air Force veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are two sons, William Alan Buchanan of Brevard, NC, and Kevin Wade Buchanan (Kala) of Easley; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Buchanan was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Elaine Buchanan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at Easley First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
