William David Butler

William David Butler, 81, of 404 Old Piedmont Highway, and husband of Betty Cooper Butler, passed away Thursday June 12, 2014 at his home.
Mr Butler was born in Greenville, SC, the son of the late Jesse Furman and Eva Elizabeth Ward Butler. He retired from Pet Dairy after 18 years of service and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church in Mauldin.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years, are his son, William David Butler, Jr. (Janine) of Lyman, SC; a daughter, Becky Toney (Chris), of Simpsonville, SC; a sister, Anne Dickson, of Mauldin, SC; two grandchildren, McKenzie Butler and Grayson Toney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bob Butler and Wayne Butler and a sister, Clara Yates.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Entombment with military honors will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at their respective homes.
