William “Keith” Campbell, 86, of Moore, South Carolina, husband of Kathleen Kay Campbell, died Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Born September 1, 1938 in Honea Path, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Clyde and Clara Campbell. Keith was educated in Honea Path, South Carolina and obtained his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Clemson College in 1960. His career began with Riegel Textile Corporation as a chemist and advanced to General Manager of Riegel’s Ware Shoals plant. Later, he joined Tietex International in Spartanburg where he worked various roles until he became Chief Operating Officer. Keith was a Christian and member of Covenant Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Through the years as he moved across the Upstate, he served his local churches in multiple capacities including Sunday School teacher, Royal Ambassador leader, baseball and basketball coach, deacon, and trustee. He enjoyed farming and being with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, Keith is survived by two sons, Kenneth Stephen Campbell (Nan), and James Kirk Campbell (Nancy); and three grandchildren, Isabella, Jeanette, and Kollin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Lindsey and Sylvia Dukes.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, South Carolina 29642. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Garden of Memories in Belton, South Carolina.
