William W.B. "Woody" Carson

William W.B. "Woody" Carson, 81, husband of the late Myrtle Bennefield Carson, of Easley, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Andrew Woodrow Carson and the late Lottie Lou Medlin Jones (Cleo).

He was retired, having spent most of his career as a truck driver and mechanic, specializing in collision work.

Woody is survived by his daughter, Melba Hayes (Brian) of Easley; granddaughters, Kenna Hayes and Seaera Brooks (Chase); a great-granddaughter, Lydia Brooks; and his sister, Barbara Campbell (Stanley) of Greenville.

In addition to his loving wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Carson and Bernard Vance Carson.
