Mr. William "Billy" Howard Chafin, 77, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Greenville.
Born in Pelzer, Mr. Chafin was a son of the late Reese E. and Inez Sellers Chafin. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Joe Chafin of Jacksonville, Florida and Jerry Chafin of Powdersville; three sisters, Sue McClain, Mary Adams and Linda Fleming, all of Powdersville. Mr. Chafin was predeceased by a brother, Bobby R. Chafin.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday at Siloam Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Shriners' Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
