William Christopher Brackett

William Christopher Brackett, 60, of Six Mile passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 after a long battle with Cancer. Born in York, SC the son of the late William Daniel and Geraldine Ligon Brackett. Husband of 30 years to Cynthia Pickens Brackett of the home and loving father of Daniel Brackett (Amber) of Pickens, Christina Phillips (Jimmy) of Anderson and Catherine Pickens of Clemson.

In addition to his wife and children Chris leaves behind one brother, Ronnie Wade Brackett of Six Mile, and one precious grand-daughter and 5 grandsons; Patrick Howard, Jaylen, Kade, Isaiah Brackett, and Roben Pickens.

Chris retired after 39 years of service as Planning Supervisor with Duke Energy. He had an unique sense of humor and a love for hunting and the outdoors. He loved his friends like family and his family he held close. He will be sorely missed.

In addition to his parents, Chris was predeceased by a sister, Gwendolyn Carpenter.

Rev. Greg Finley will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 2 PM in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Pickens, SC.
