William Franklin Cobb, 81, of 300 Exeter Close, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.
Born in Hickory Grove, he was a son of the late William Alexander and Ella Beam Cobb. He was a Veteran of the US Marines having served during WWII and was also a Veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Cobb was retired from General Electric was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Shelby, NC
Surviving are his wife, Bernice Deviney Cobb of the home; a daughter, Debbie Davidson and husband Rhett of Easley; two grandchildren, Matthew Davidson and wife Kristina, Loralea Wright and husband Brian; and a great-granddaughter, Kaylea Wright. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Harold Cobb; and a sister, Elizabeth Bigham.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jay Harlan officiating.
