William Franklin Cook, 89, husband of June Dobson Cook, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at AnMed Cannon in Pickens, SC.
Frank was born in Norris a son of the late Toby and Aileen Porter Cook. He was a 1948 graduate of Liberty High School. He proudly served 10 years in the USAir Force having served at the US Air Force Academy and Shaw Air Force Base. Following his service he worked for over 45 years as a automobile mechanic with Townsend Pontiac Cadillac Dealership in Easley, SC. He was a member of Fellowship Community Church in Liberty.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years are his son, Brian Cook and his wife Suzanne of Norris; sisters, Margaret Hodgens and her husband Phil of Saluda, SC and Faye Stancil and her husband, Herbert of Liberty; grandchildren, Brad Cook and his wife, Gillian of Easley and Taylor Cook and his wife, Haley of Easley; great-grandchildren, Stella, Cason and Evie.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by a brother, James Cook; and a great granddaughter, Dorothy Cook.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Fellowship Community Church with burial to follow in Memory Gardens in Clemson.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, Friday prior to the service at the church.
