William W. Corwin

William "Bill" W. Corwin, 76, of Easley, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday February 25, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Corwin was born in Newark, N.J., a son of the late Thomas Lauren Corwin, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Little Corwin. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and retired from Jacobs Engineering (formerly J.E. Sirrine Company) where he was a Professional Industrial Engineer. He taught at Greenville Tech and was a former employee of Industra Company. He was a member of Gideon's International, the Advisory Committee at Greenville Technical College and served on the Board of Directors for the Sirrine Credit Union. Mr. Corwin was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Hardegree Corwin, of the home ; a son, David R. Corwin and his wife, Teena, of Travelers Rest ; daughters, Kimberly Ann Corwin, of the home, Kathy L. Corwin, of Greenville, Sally C. Hall and Pam Redding and her husband, Billy, all of Easley ; a brother, Thomas Lauren Corwin, Jr., of Olney, Maryland ; a sister, Audrey Ruth C. Smith and her husband, Bill, of Lutz, Florida ; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hall, Chance Corwin, Shadda Corwin, Walaylah Corwin, Kiona Corwin, Chase Corwin, Joseph Redding, Anna Redding and Emily Redding ; and several neices and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Rock Springs Baptist Church, with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
