William Carl "Bucky" Crane, Jr.
Easley, SC
W. C. "Bucky" Crane, Jr., 92, of Easley, husband of the late Edwina Garrett Crane, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his beloved Wina on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
Born in Easley, he was the son of the late Sophie Welborn Crane and the late William Carl Crane, Sr. Bucky was owner and operator of Crane Chevrolet Cadillac for over 70 years and served on various local boards. He was an active member of Easley First Baptist Church, where he was Deacon Ameritus and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He loved to spend time with his grandsons.
Bucky is survived by children, Candy Droege Shuler of Marion, W. Carl Crane, III (Jackie) of Easley, and Sally Garrett Crane of Columbia; sister, Carla Jean Tinsley (Jack) of Liberty; grandchildren, Drew Droege, Garrett Droege (Abbey), Will Crane, IV and Wes Crane; and great grandchildren, Henry and Lennon Droege.
Along with his loving wife of 71 years, he was predeceased by sons-in-law, Al Droege and Farley Shuler; and sisters, Evelyn C. Scott and Dorothy C. King.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Easley First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church. The service will be live streamed on the church website: www.efbc.org.
