William Duncan

William A. "Bill" Duncan, 79, of 301 Peachtree Street, husband of the late Earline Merck Duncan, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Born in Oconee County, a son of the late Miles Matthew and Sarah Ollie Nix Duncan, Mr. Duncan retired from the McCrory Corporation and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are a son, Lewis Duncan and wife, Janet, of Atlanta; a daughter, Christy Baker and husband, Jeff, of Easley; a brother, Russell Duncan of Seneca; five sisters, Mildred Littleton of Easley, Hazel Stone of Williamston, Gladys Miller of Clemson, Beatrice Garrett of Walhalla, and Annie Ruth Vinson of Otto, NC; two grandchildren, Miles Duncan and Hillary Duncan; a step-grandson, Josh Baker, a great-granddaughter, Jacee Marie Baker. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Duncan was predeceased by two brothers, Virgil Duncan and Leroy Duncan.
Memorial graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Westview Cemetery in Walhalla.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

The family is at the home of Christy and Jeff Baker, 505 Ridgeway Court, Easley, SC 29640.
