William R. Evans Jr., 82, formerly of Easley, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Richard M. Campbell Nursing Facility.
Born in Greenville Co. he was the son of the late William Robert Evans and Bertha Stokes; he was a member of Lifespring Church of God where he helped construct the building. He also served in the Korean war.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Joan Sisk Evans of the home; one son, Don Evans of Taylors; a daughter, Wanda James of Easley; two grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday May 28, 2010 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00PM Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
