William Loyd Finley, 79, of 200 Anne Drive, died Tuesday February 10, 2009 at Easley Living Center.
Mr. Finley was born in Easley, a son of the late Argie and Bessie Robinson Finley. He was a mechanic for 30 years at Robinson Garage and a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Roger Finley and his wife, Judy, of Easley and Randall Finley, and his wife Rose, of Greenville ; brothers, Garland Finley and Buddy Finley, both of Pickens ; sisters, Evelyn McCombs, Lavenia McCombs, Roberta Gibson and Sybil Finley, all of Easley ; a daughter-in-law, Diane Dean Finley, of Easley ; 4 grandchildren, Cory Finley and his wife, Keri, Tiffany Moon and her husband, Jason, Brian Finley and Sean Finley ; great-grandchildren, Jacob Moon and Elizabeth Moon.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearline Boggs Finley ; a son, Jerome Finley and a great-grandchild, Isaac Moon.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Bobby Caldwell and the Reverend Carlton Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of Roger and Judy Finley, 1445 Cedar Rock Church Road and will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm Friday,
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615 or to the Alzheimers Association of S.C., 301 University Ridge, Greenville, SC 29601.
