Mr. William Grady Fowler, 78, husband of the late Laura Carolyn Brown Fowler, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Richard Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home.

Born in Oconee County, a son of the late Freddie Vesco and Estelle Smith Fowler, Mr. Fowler retired from Cornell Dubilier with forty-five years of service and was of the Baptist faith. He was a US Army veteran.

Surviving are two daughters, Kim Kelley (Greg Jarrett) of Easley, and Tracy Medlin (Bill) of Pickens; four grandchildren, Tabitha Skipper, Ashley Painter, Kayla Kelley, and Hunter Jarrett; and four great-grandchildren, Brady and Marshall Barrs, Ila Skipper, and Carolyn Link. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Fowler was predeceased by two brothers, Roy and George Fowler; and three sisters, Ruby Finley, Lucy Addis, and Louise Bates. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with Rev. Brad Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, June 16, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family members are at their respective homes.
