William N. Garlits, 67, of 112 Sitka Lane, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at his home.
Born in Fairmont, WV, a son of Helen Bunner Garlits and and the late Rueben Garlits, Mr. Garlits retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service. He was a member of the Roann Church of the Brethren in Roann, IN.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Weber Garlits of the home; a son, Donald Garlits of Peru, IN; a step-son, Keith Lippincott of Liberty; a step-daughter, Michelle LaBreche of Easton, PA; two brothers, Ronald Garlits of Wabash, IN, and Robert Garlits of Waverly, OH; and two grandchildren. In addition to his father, Mr. Garlits was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Garlits and by a brother, Kevin Garlits.
Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
Visitation will from 6:30 until 8:00 Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
The family is at the residence.
