William Junior Garrison, 87, of 210 Pine Knoll Drive, went to be with the Lord Wednesday October 8, 2008 at Riverside Living Center.
Mr. Garrison was born in Stephens County, Georgia, a son of the late William Thomas Watson Garrison and Mattie Murray Garrison. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II and retired as an accomplished builder with M.L. Garrett Construction Company. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Terry Garrison (Dottie), of Piedmont and Jim Garrison (Betty), of Easley ; two brothers, Roy Lee Garrison (Ollie) and Dewey Thomas Garrison (Lillian), all of Easley ; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Garrison, of Pensacola, Florida ; grandchildren, John Garrison (Jennifer), Brad Garrison (Lindsay) and Brian Garrison ; a great-grandchild, Joshua Douglas Garrison and step-great-grandchildren, Grace Wilke and Hope Wilke.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Griffeth Garrison ; a brother,Paul E. Garrison and a sister, Dorothy Weathers.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Joel Jenkins and the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Family members are at their respective homes and will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
