William "Roy" Goodson

Dr. William "Roy" Goodson, 91, husband of Lois Goodson, passed away on March 28, 2017.
Born in Woodstock, Georgia, he was the son of the late Hanan and Lillie Goodson. He was a Minister for 67 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his loving wife, are sons, Charles Goodson (Irene), Mike Goodson (Kay), and Gary Goodson; Daughters, Debbie Melton, Rebecca Haigler (Mike), Sandy Sutton (Mike), and Gayle Collins (Dewey).
He enjoyed spending time with his family, preaching the Word of God, and telling jokes.
Dr. Goodson was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 31, 2017, from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM.
Burial will follow at Swan Pond Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingston, TN.
