William Craig "Bill" Hamilton, 86, of 309 Tremont Avenue, died Monday, March 26, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Arthur Craig and Lillie Couch Hamilton, Mr. Hamilton retired from the Dunean Plant of J.P. Stevens & Company. He was a member of Tremont Church of God where he belonged to the Sanctuary Sunday School Class, the Golden Gems Senior Group and the Church Prayer Band. Mr. Hamilton was active in the Tremont Church of God Visitation Ministry and drove the church van for more than forty years.

Surviving are his wife, Euline Staton Hamilton of the home; a daughter, Cathy Gambrell Tzoras and her husband, Gus, of Easley; a granddaughter, Heather Kelly Cook and her husband, Kenny, of Easley; and two great-grandchildren, Kameryn Cook and Kinsley Cook.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Tremont Church of God with Rev. Tim Kerns and Rev. Richard E. Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.

Honorary escort will be the Sanctuary Sunday School Class, the Golden Gems, the Ladies and Men's Prayer Band and the Shut-In Ministry of Tremont Church of God.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, Easley, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Tremont Church of God, 2859 New Easley Highway, Greenville, SC 2961.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Cathy Gambrell Tzoras, 122 Teal Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
